Wreathed in style…

Although we haven’t put our Christmas decorations up yet, (have you?) I have succumbed to putting the wreath on our front door. There’s simply nothing like a festive welcome, and I love how it adds Christmas cheer to the whole street. For the last couple of years we have had a Twig and frosted berry wreath which has sadly seen better days so our front door is sporting a different design this year. As part of #ShareAdvent (I’m a little late on this one I think,) one of the ideas was to make your own wreath. I’d love to hear if you have done and I’ve rounded up a selection of ideas for you here if you fancy trying some DIY.

Of course, if you’re not the DIY type or are just strapped for time like me (see this afternoon’s post!) then you might be equally appreciative of my round up of wreaths available in stores now too 😉

Have you decorated your front door yet?

  1. These are lovely and I already had my eye on the John Lewis pine cone one however following a very recent car theft from my driveway am loath to put one up on my door, although I doubt there are wreath criminals in the area! I have my tree up and other decorations as of earlier this week, but that’s just because I am due to give birth any day now and decorating has kept me busy whilst waiting at home for baby to arrive!

  2. These look lovely, am considering get an indoor one for our hallway. We always have a huge real foliage one on our front door. For us it just wouldn’t be Christmas without it. My front door never looks as good during the rest of the year. I always struggle to find a lovely wreath that doesn’t have huge plastic bows on or fake holly berries, but this year I found a beauty! It’s huge (almost the full width of my front door), but it’s simple. Just Pine boughs, Eucalyptus and some dried seed heads. I love it. Oh and I have nothing else up yet, the wreath has to be first. 🙂

  3. I have number 4 in the Pre-made wreaths below but have customised it with some foliage and some lights… I’ll share a picture later in the week as part of my attempt to follow #shareadvent!
