What to Wear: Everyday Sparkle…

Just recently, with so much going on, I’ve not had time to go out and sparkle in public, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to put the glitz on and give myself a bit of a mental boost. I might not want to put on my finest top for lounging around in, but when I spied this sequin front top from Marks and Spencer (Indigo collection) I knew it was perfect for relaxing whilst still feeling a little bit special.

Top, Marks and Spencer // Trousers, H&M (also seen here and here) // Toes, Essie Lapiz of Luxury

Of course, no matter what I do, I can never really get any peace and quiet with my two cats around, I’m lucky if they don’t literally walk across the keyboard but I just can’t stay steely against their purring advances.

I’m pretty sure this top is going to be in heavy rotation in the coming months as winter approaches. I can see it with everything from a maxi skirt to shorts and it’s dangerously comfy.

Gets yours for £45 from Marks and Spencer

  1. Looks like I need to get over my M&S phobia and get this jumper then!!

When you say comfortable, do you mean you don’t get that super thin material can feel every sequin against your skin thing? I am sometimes put off sequined things for that reason, they can be really itchy and uncomfy. I may just have to go try this one on, it looks like the sort of thing I may wear on christmas eve! Not that far away!!

  2. Oh Rebecca, I saw this last week in M&S and got so distracted by the lovely sequinness that I actually walked into someone!

Now I’m thinking I might have to make a wee trip there at lunchtime today. I reckon I could wear this to death. Esp with my green Gap trousers.

  3. Almost identical to a ted baker one from a while back… but way cheaper! I heart. Nice find! Bit too similar to my H&M one though so probably can’t justify…. but maybe….

Love that ombre one that Katie suggested…
