My Month…

It’s nearing the end of January (and it hasn’t been that bad after all with Florence to help you through now has it?) So it’s time I shared a bit of ‘behind the scenes’ info in the shape of my Instagram snaps for January.

  • Wardrobe rehab – watch out for more on this coming soon, Florence’s tips on how to clean up, clear out and get ready for the new fashion .
  • Healthy Eating with English Apples
  • My Friday Frock with animal print Topshop tights.
  • Red and orange nails – (my sister wearing Leighton Denny and Me wearing Nails inc.)
  • Shopping for boots, J.Crew and leather at The Outnet.
  • Bertie shoes for work and play, in the sales.
  • Walking in the Elan valley, Wales.
  • Michelle (the mastermind behind these party ideas) and her friend Jayne at Pete’s party.
  • Healthy (fat free) frozen yogurt with blind eye brownie bits πŸ˜‰ for a desperate chocolate treat.
  • Tabby… posing for you all with her spotty tummy.
  • And lastly a sneak peek of Pete’s party, more to come soon!

So, what were the highlights of your January? Have we made it more bearable?

  1. Loving January – highlights include:

    – a six-day 30th birthday extravaganza
    – selling our flat (fingers crossed it all pans out)
    – purchasing a “grown up” house (also fingers crossed)
    – hearing some fabulous baby-related news from no less than three people
    – two shout outs on my fave blog in the world! (that’s this one by the way…..)

pretty good month I’d say! πŸ™‚

  2. January – one month I am please to leave behind, although the blog has certainly brightened it up!

My month can be summarised as:
    – gym, have been 3-4 times each week – a result
    – trying to think creatively about my lunch box
    – sale buys – cashmere, jewellery and a lovely 11″ silver satchel via the Urban Outfitters sales for the weekends that arrived this morning πŸ™‚
    – an evening out to hear about diamonds at the V&A which was awesome. The Executive VP President of the De Beers Diamond Institute spoke passionately about rocks for 40 mins with great insight.

More of the same day-to-day stuff in February, but do have a long weekend booked at the end of it which I am looking forward to already!

  3. WHOA. I’m a little freaked out. Just this morning as I was clearing out the items in my wardrobe so the carpet fitters could move it around tomorrow, it crossed my mind that a really good blog post you could do would be one on how to organise your wardrobe the most efficient way. I have too-tall boots jammed under too-long hanging items, socks in the same drawers as my underwear, it’s chaos in there.

  4. Loving the January round-up Rebecca-this is one month I can’t wait to leave behind!

Looks like it’s been a fun filled month for you-loving the new shoes, the bright nail polish, your cute cat and that delicious looking yogurt. Also, can’t wait to see the party pics!!

I have fallen in love that pic of your niece-it made me smile-how cute is she 
