Guest Posts
First up, at this time Florence Finds¬†does not accept guest posts other than those written by fellow bloggers or Florence Finds existing contributors. Post written by brands, PR’s or SEO ‘experts’ will not be accepted.

Sponsored Posts
In select circumstances and at the discretion of Rebecca, certain products or services may be suitable to be featured as a sponsored post. These posts must however first and foremost be of interest and pertinent to the average Florence Finds reader. All sponsored posts are handled by Handpicked Media – If you are interested in arranging a sponsored post on Florence Finds then please contact them directly for further information.

Reviews and Product Samples
If you wish to submit a product, item of clothing or location (such as hotels or restaurants) to be featured on Florence Finds, please get in touch first. I will happily review items that are relevant to my readers and they will enjoy reading about, however, the product in question must fit within my usual personal lifestyle choices. Please be aware that all reviews are honest and if I don’t like the item, I reserve the right to express that opinion or to refuse to blog about the item in question. I also do not wish to accept items that I have no use for or honest interest in – I find it wasteful and unethical particularly to accept an item for personal gain that my readers will not be interested in. Therefore please do not be offended if I politely decline. Please email and mark the subject box REVIEWS to discuss further.

Reader offers and competitions
Certain items may be suitable to run as a give-away or competition, or you may wish to offer Florence Finds readers a discount on your product. I consider these sponsored posts and therefore they attract a fee. They will only be accepted if considered relevant and interesting to my readers. Please email and mark the subject box SPONSORED POST to discuss further.

Demographic and readership.
As of January 2013 Florence Finds reaches over 35,000 unique users every month and receives over 75,000 page views, the great majority of whom are UK based.

Readers are largely female, in their late 20’s and thirties, in a relationship and owner occupiers. Their disposable income expenditure falls into 3 main areas, fashion, travel and home (whether that be renovating and decorating, or saving towards upsizing.)

This blog generates a small income via banner advertising and affiliate links. On occasion featured products with be linked to via an affiliate network and if a purchase is made via this site I receive a percentage of the sale. This varies from 3-10% and does not affect the price the customer pays. Affiliate links are readily available for nearly every brand across the web, please rest assured that the income generated in this manner is not enough to sway my choices beyond those pieces that I truly love and recommend or genuinely wish to share.

All sponsored posts are clearly marked as such and any products or places reviewed here are clearly labelled.

  1. You have a very lovely blog, Rebecca – I wondered whether you might wish to attend a little blogger’s evening I’m organising for Dotcomgiftshop – an online retailer of gifts & home accessories – in London on the 4th of July? We’re holding it in a lovely space, and I’m sure it would be worth your while. If interested, please pop me over your email address, and I’ll get an invite over in a jiffy.
    Many thanks

  2. Hi Rebecca

Hope you don’t mind me contacting you, Esme suggested I get in touch with you.

I up-cycle old and unloved furniture, and make small items for the home, and am starting a small business (or trying to!). Esme mentioned you might be looking for someone to write posts at the moment; I’m very happy to write about anything interiors/ design/ craft related (although I know from reading your lovely blog that you do a lot of your own interiors posts anyway).

Let me know if there’s anything you think I might be able to do!

    Best wishes

    Lucie (@snuggleroushka and @M_H_Interiors)
