What to Wear: Winter Florals

Marks and Spencer printed trousers // Top, French Connection // Heels, Kurt Geiger // Necklace, Banana Republic (old) // Box clutch, Zara

A while ago I shared my printed trousers that had a distinctly summery vibe. I also told you that they were going to remain top of the trends for Autumn and that I already had the perfect pair to share with you. Well here they are, with a summery vibe… you’ll definitely be seeing them again, re-worked for cooler weather as the season progresses.

I found these in M&S of all places (yup, I had quite a haul in there that day, snapping up this sparkly everyday jumper and my tribal skirt.) not Autograph or Limited, just the standard collection. In a moody winter floral print of purples and pinks on black and with a tuxedo style side stripe they feel much more expensive than they were.

In an of-the-moment cropped length I chose to pair them with super high strappy Kurt Geiger heels I bought only a week ago in the sale – a bargain marked down to £31.50 from £150! For so long, evening heels have been all about the peep to or full court shoe that these suddenly felt very modern and fresh.

The trousers and heels do all the talking, so I kept my top half fresh with a simple white silk t’shirt style top and a modern box clutch for added evening sparkle.

Find your pair of Winter floral printed trousers from Marks and Spencers.

What do you reckon readers?

Love,
Rebecca

    • PS. Your insistence on printed and colourful trousers has had an effect on me, today I am wearing burgundy Gap chinos to work!! Not as bright as your choices but bright for me 😉

  1. Like the hairbraid too! Those trousers are lovely – I especially like the print and the stripe down the side. – Would never guess they were M&S. Those heels are lovely too! xx

  2. The hair is gorgeous!
I have to say that this may be one of my fave outfits, I love the necklace and nail colour pop against the moody trousers…I may be tempted to get myself a pair, however I will wait to see how you make them winter suitable first!

  3. I love M&S! I have bought a couple of pairs of cropped trousers there lately – a navy, more conservative skinny pair, and a bolder, almost turquouse blue that are a bit baggier. I think M&S cuts clothes really well – their colours can be a bit hit and miss but I love what they have in store at the moment.

You do realise Rebecca that we all think you look like this ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I really hope to hear of a snakeskin-heeled GP…
