VOTE!

I’m republishing this post for the weekend because it’s been three weeks since I last asked for your support in voting for Florence Finds in the Cosmo Blog awards. I REALLY need your votes readers, so if you haven’t already, please please please head on over (links at the bottom) and cast your vote. Thank you!!

PS Don’t forget there’s still time to win The Surf Cafe Cookbook too as a thank you from me – there are 2 up for grabs and voting is open until tomorrow evening.

Today I have a little news to share that some of you might have heard already if you follow me on Twitter, but I can’t help myself from shouting it from the rooftops. Florence Finds has been nominated in the Cosmo blog awards!

The news filtered through on Twitter on Monday that I was shortlisted for the Lifestyle category and then I received an email from Next about their Newcomer blog award. In my excitement I was also a little confused but after an email conversation with the team at Next it turned out there was no mistake, Florence Finds had been nominated twice!

*cue me falling off my blogging chair whilst hyperventilating and several excited emails to Gemma.

You might recall me asking for nominations for these awards a couple of months back and I really did it thinking nothing ventured, nothing gained. To actually be shortlisted is beyond exciting, and to have made it onto two shortlists from thousands of entries, well, that is frankly mind blowing.

So now I need your help. The winners are decided based on 50% public vote and 50% the Cosmo judging panel, made up of Cosmo editors. I need every single one of you reading to vote for Florence Finds, I just need 2 clicks and the links are right here:

I would be so grateful if you could do this for me, and spread the word via your twitter account, post a link on your Facebook, hell, even blog about it if you can. Tell your friends, the guy at the bus stop, the taxi driver, if you happen to own a light aircraft I’d be much obliged if you could write it across the sky… ;) Who knows if anything will come of it, but just being nominated, particularly when starting a new lifestyle blog almost seems pointless amongst the wealth of talent and success that is out there, has been such an amazing feeling. I’ve never been so proud of Florence Finds and that goes not just for my efforts but those who contribute to it monthly and occasionally too, you all deserve to be proud of this nomination too… Becky, Penny, Rachel, Jess and of course Gemma.

I hope it’s an inspiration to those of you with small blogs. You know what they say, the only way is up!

Now go vote, please!

Love,
Rebecca
