Spotted: Zara Spring Drop

If you aren’t aware that Zara is possibly the hottest place to shop on the high street right now, then where have you been? Although my round up of the SS12 collections has been quiet for a while, that is because Zara has been saving the best until last and a week or so ago, it all landed with a thud online and in store at Zara.

Easily the fashionista’s favourite, it’s not hard to see why. I’m not doing my favourite picks from what’s in store because the turnover is so quick – in my experience with Zara it’s better to just hold your breath and visit frequently. But I couldn’t resist sharing these Look Book images because I am loving the neutrals and, you guessed it, those bold shots of colour.

It’s a little bit J Crew-esque with primary brights, a shot of neon, peachy faded brights and those statement necklaces. There’s a lot to be keeping your eyes peeled for in store. My other tip for scoring Zara goodness is to shop online. You’ll often find items online that never come into store, or are much later in doing so and of course, it’s much comfier shopping at your desk, and less time consuming for us busy ladies.

However, aside from the clothes, the one thing that Zara are really knocking out of the park right now on a super trend level, is their footwear. From perspex heels (made wearable for the office,) to pastels shades (with matching metal toe caps,) mirror-like metallics to chunky heels and summer ready sandals, there is something here for everyone and more often than not at a very attractive price point. Lots of the heels come in at around £29.99. I think I should be on commission!

So, have you spotted any favourites here? Or maybe you’ve already snapped up some Zara finds?

Drop me a comment below and share the Zara love,

Love,

  1. Could not agree more!! Am totally obsessed with Zara at the moment. Last season wasn’t really doing it for me but I could literally spend hundreds if not thousands (if only I had it spare!) in there of late. Recent purchases have been a gorgeous colbalt blue and lime green floral print sheer shirt, a pair of nude, black and orange heels (perfect pop of colour) and the leopard blouse – thanks for the tip! And I totally agree. If you love something, just buy it, otherwise it will be gone, and you’ll spend ages (and probably waaaaaay over the odds) trying to get from eBay (been there, done that). Am a total Zara lover too. That bold lace/broderie anglaise top has my name written on it :) xx

  2. I’ve been very lucky in Zara recently, bought some coloured trousers (gulp) and some very cool patterned blouses (my favourite is covered in cute little foxes). Am loving the pastel shoes with metal toe caps, gorgeous! Also another good tip if you are a size 8-10 is to check out the children’s section – beautiful prints and much cheaper than the adult range!

  3. Hello new summer wardrobe!

    Goodbye bank balance.

Love most of everything on the webiste – why have I never looked here before?

Could anyone tell me what TRF means on the website too?! I am not fashion savvy it seems :S

    • Trafaluc is Zara’s ‘young’ line Laura – I don’t think the word means anything in Spanish, nor do the initals stand for anything xx

  4. zara fantasy shopping list for this lunchtime:

    - blue and green strappies
    - snakeskin and yellow sandals
    - silver “flapper-esque” heels
    - red asymmetric peplum skirt
    - someone else’s credit card to purchase it on as mine is maxed out…

  5. I’ve spent a very small fortune in Zara recently. I’m addicted to their pastel coloured pleat front trousers. Now I need to go on a top to wear with them spree. It is not a good thing to work five minutes from their big Oxford Street/Bond Street store.

  6. Love Zara! Just last night I bought a black dress with an angelina-esque slit for my friends 30th birthday bash! I opted for home delivery though as when I pick up in store I always have a sneaky little look round and end up spending more! I recently bought a blush pink blazer from there that goes with everything and their t-shirts are just devine, really nice material and so flattering!

  7. I’m right with you in the Zara crush at the moment. I popped into Zara in Cambridge last week, and loved what I saw.

I came out with a gorgeous flowery blouse, a bit like the one you featured, a cream top with pretty sleeves and a fab linen tailored jacket. That is a lot for me, I’m a picky shopper! x

  8. Zara can do no wrong – every season, if not every time I walk in there, I find something I want, plus their sales are fantastic for stocking up on basics x
