Saturday Snapshots… Rainy Days

It’s been a while since I’ve done this kind of post but thought it was time to resurrect them. It gave me a reason to look around my home and find the positives in the rain keeping me indoors this week. I’m going to visit my sister in Birmingham this weekend today and Sunday sees me watching Coldplay and catching up on indoor activities unless the sun makes an appearance. I’m looking forward to being at home for the first weekend in 4 weeks.

Finding ways to use the fallen roses from the garden…

Trying out some new lipsticks

Finally getting around to filing those torn out recipes in my new recipe book

A corner of my kitchen that pleases me every time I catch sight of it…

New Anthropologie tapas forks waiting for summer weather to be used.

Have a great weekend readers,

Rebecca

  1. Hello! I live in Dubai, so I rarely have those rainy indoors day, in fact it’s quite the opposite. This weekend it is far too hot and humid, so like yourself I’ve been catching up with indoor jobs such as sorting the wardrobes and my recipe book (which is exactly the same as yours!). Have a good weekend everyone, wherever you may be. x

    • Hello!

It’s good to know that even in Sunny places it can get annoying to be too hot sometimes 😉 I quite like a good downpour every now and again, just not solid weeks of it!

      Welcome to Florence Finds!

      Xo

  2. I do love rainy days like that, especially when I seem to live life at a million miles an hour the rest of the time. It’s nice to stop every once in a while and appreciate our surroundings, especially when they’re as beautiful as yours. Hope you’re having a fab weekend all. Xxx

  3. I use those recipe books from paperchase too I’ve got 3 of them completely full of recipes I had torn out from magazines / recipe cards from supermarkets etc I spent the first few weeks of my maternity leave (pre baby) sticking them in! – love the photos 🙂

  4. Love the fallen roses and your kitchen vignette! So pretty 🙂 I’ve spent a lot of time indoors lately as well (if the sun were out, I’d be out in the garden for sure, feeling like I’m missing the enjoyment of sitting on my patio on the light evenings)… at least I’m getting lots of little jobs around the house done so silver lining and all that 😉 xxx
