Giveaway! The Surf Cafe Cookbook

I am a terrible fiend for collecting recipe and coffee table books, either for interiors, fashion or food. I love pouring over the photography, reading about the delicious ingredients and being inspired by the fabulous life of the people within the pages, so much so I even have a rotating display of books on my wall.

So you’ll understand my excitement when an email about The Surf Cafe Cookbook: Living the Dream: Cooking and Surfing on the West Coast of Ireland popped into my inbox last week.

Filled with the most unimaginably gorgeous looking recipes and scenery, it’s more than a cookery book, covering the lifestyle Jane and Myles Lamberth have on the West Coast of Ireland and in their beach cafe Shells.

Cooking, eating, surfing and making the most of life – The Surf CafΓ© Cookbook is about coastal living at its best. This beautiful compilation of easy to make and tasty recipes covers tips on foraging, advice from local producers, craft ideas and surfing, all stylishly illustrated.

Perfect for the warmer days we’re (finally) having, outdoor living and fresh ingredients are at the forefront of the book and it also serves as an excellent reminder that stunning costal scenery is right on our doorstep in Ireland.

This coastal lifestyle bible is also an insightful guide to the beautiful area of Strandhill on the West Coast of Ireland and its vibrant culture which has inspired the book. From foraging on the beach to creating the perfect brunch through to mixing homemade Baileys, the Surf Cafe Cookbook encourages the reader to make locally produced food that’s fresh, fun, unpretentious and tasty.
