This weeks frock was prompted by my sister who was shopping and suggested a metallic green jacquard paisley dress from Warehouse that she had her eye on. I went for a little nosey round the Warehouse site and instead fell for this one, the snappily named ‘multi adorn paisley wrap dress’. Regardless of the name, it does tick all the boxes with a flattering waist band and wrap hem, and in one of THE hot colours of the season, purple.
Multi adorn paisley wrap dress, Warehouse – £55
Paisley is set to be a huge trend this season and whilst I’m torn between getting huge flash backs of the eighties and a velvet paisley dress I had around that time, this feels up to date enough and the colours are stunning.
If on the other hand you prefer more of a structured shift, perhaps you would like my sisters choice
(Feel free to fuel the sibling rivalry by casting your vote in the comments box this week!)

Ooo I like this! I actually saw the dress your sister picked out as I love those colours but I love the more relaxed style of this one too. Question is could either be worn to a late October wedding??
xx
although i love the colour of your sister’s choice, the shape of your choice wins the day for me.
It’s just like the maroon bird print one that FF told me to buy last winter and I literally wore it to death all winter (in the office with opaques, for after-work drinks with glitzy heels, sightseeing with boots and snuggling in front of the fire with a chunky cardy) and then in to the spring (with flesh coloured fishnets and courts) and summer (with bare legs and ballet pumps).
So I think, based on the wearability and pound-per-wear factor for me it has to be the purple paisley (anyone else thinking about the Purple Pieman when they say that?).
Might trot off to Warehouse at lunch in fact…. big weekend ahead!
I like this alot – its so wearable with the sleeves! I do like your sisters choice too though – Love a bit of green!

I was pretty torn myself. I might be in trouble when she see’s I’ve outed her like this!
I like both but prefer your sister’s but then I’m always biased towards green!
Sharing my frock choice again this week, from Phase Eight which I’m wearing to a wedding this weekend – http://www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eight/Dresses/Blenheim-Print-Dress/201856402
Although I had a slight issue (albeit amusing) and had a mad dash at lunchtime to swap it, see here… http://olivedragonfly.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/an-issue-with-nipples.html
I’m totally with your sister on this one! Love a green dress!
You’ve offered a strong contender but I’m sticking by my dress! I’ll be off out to buy it as soon as I get chance!
