This week I couldn’t help myself but include a dress from my favourite shop, Whistles. And it’s yellow. You know what they say, ‘you can go hard, or you can go home.’
Ellie drape front dress, £75 – whistles.co.uk
If you’re looking for a simply perfect dress, you can do a lot worse than go to Whistles.
Their shift dresses are absolutely the best and insanely flattering, particularly their what I like to call ‘signature’ shape. It varies slightly season to season, but think flattering slightly high waist, heavy silks that drape beautifully, tough exposed zips and small details that give a modern-luxe feel. I could have chosen any one of their dresses in the sale but this one looked too sunshine-y to resist.
Have a great weekend readers
Love,

Gah!!! I LOVE this dress so much. It just doesn’t love me. To big on the top, too tight on the bottom makes for a bad combination!!
However, I did buy the gorgeous pink lacy dress that I mentioned earlier in the week… and it was in the sale

LOVE the zip feature plus the colour is awesome.
I have this in boring black, but have worn it to work, weddings and even funerals (sadly).
Agree the drapey-ness is lovely and the zip feature. x
This would be the best £75 I ever spent. The end.

I LOVE THIS COLOUR.
(it looks terrible on me though)
Maybe a handbag?

Love. Just love. Mustard-y yellow is on my colour palette…but seriously, if I don’t suit this colour, my face can eff off, I’m buying it anyway.
Agree with the beauty of Whistles dresses. The only range that can make drapes look good on someone with boobs. That should be their tag line.
