This week ladies, instead of me helping you, I need YOUR help.

ASOS petite One shoulder corset dress with feather detail – £85

I am approaching a very big birthday. Ahem. More to come on that particular subject but for now, despite having lots of pretty frocks in my repertoire, I just can’t get past the fact that I need a spectacular one for this occasion. I’m going to a wedding the week after too, so it can do double duty, but for now, my eyes are on the prize. I need a fabulous frock.

You might be wondering why I’m asking you to find one when I have posted this feather skirted number today. This is my nemesis dress. The one I wanted, and I waited, God only knows why, only to find my size is no longer available. I have done myself out of the perfect party frock.

Your mission readers, should you choose to accept it, is to find me a new frock. Links in the comments box please, all suggestions gratefully considered. Or else I may be wearing a bin bag to dinner.

It was a risky dress anyway (i’m an energetic dancer) but with that little design fault i didn’t want to risk it.
